Attendance reminders & the Attendance Assistant

Automatic nudges before work, honest late notices, and a bot DM.

For: Everyone · Category: Time & attendance

Once your company sets its working hours, Veridox watches attendance for you. Reminders arrive as bell notifications and as chat messages from the Attendance Assistant bot - with your minutes late, your weekly total, and exactly what to do about it.

Steps

  1. Before work - About 2 hours before your start time, anyone not clocked in gets a heads-up: clock in at the office, or request off-site work or leave in the app.
  2. If you are late - After your start time you get an honest "you are X minutes late" notice (repeated at most every 3 hours), including your accumulated lateness for the week.
  3. If no clock-in all day - After the workday ends you are marked absent for that day and told once.
  4. Managers get a summary - Line managers receive one daily alert listing how many of their reports are late or absent, with the week's accumulated lateness.

Tips

  • On approved leave, an active off-site permit, a holiday or a non-working day you are exempt - no reminders, no marks.
  • Clocking in stops the notices for the day; your lateness is recorded as the gap between your start time and your clock-in.
  • Company owners are exempt from personal attendance tracking.
