Use the calendar and schedule meetings
View company events, holidays, birthdays, task due-dates and meetings in one place.
For: Everyone · Category: Communication
The Calendar page merges five sources into a single view: public holidays (seeded from your country), company events (added by owners/admins/HR), employee birthdays, scheduled meetings and task due-dates. You can switch between an Org view (everything for the whole company) and a My view (only items that involve you).
Steps
- Open Calendar - Choose Calendar in the sidebar. Both owners/managers and employees see it.
- Switch scope - Toggle between Org (company-wide) and My (personal) at the top. Org shows all company events, holidays, birthdays and your meetings. My shows only meetings you are invited to and your own tasks.
- Switch view - Toggle between Month (grid) and Agenda (list). Click a day in the month grid to jump to the agenda for that day.
- Schedule a meeting - Click "New" (or the calendar-plus button). Everyone can schedule a meeting: pick a date, time, title, optional location/link, and add attendees from the directory. Attendees receive a notification and can RSVP (accepted, declined, tentative).
- Add a company event (owners/admins/HR) - From the "New" dropdown, choose "Company event". Pick a type (Maintenance, Announcement, Deadline, All-hands, or Other), set the date/time, and save. The event appears on the Org calendar for everyone.
- Edit or delete an event - In agenda view, org events show edit (pencil) and delete (trash) buttons. Only owners, admins and HR can modify company events.
- Click a task due-date - Task items on the calendar link back to the Tasks board so you can open the task directly.
- View meeting details - Click any meeting to see its details, attendees and RSVP statuses.
Tips
- Public holidays are seeded automatically from the country you chose at sign-up.
- Birthdays appear from employees' date-of-birth field - encourage staff to fill this in during onboarding.
- The colour legend at the top of the calendar shows which colour represents holidays, birthdays, meetings, company events and tasks.
