Change your password in the app

Update your password from Settings, without signing out.

You do not have to sign out to change your password. Every user can change it from Settings. For safety, Veridox emails you a short code to confirm the change before setting the new one.

Steps

  1. Open Settings - Owners/admins/managers/HR: open Settings from the account menu. Employees: open Settings from your profile button.
  2. Go to Security - Owners/admins/managers/HR: choose the Security tab. Employees: choose the Security tab in your Settings.
  3. Send yourself a code - Choose "Send reset code". A 6-digit code is emailed to the address on your account.
  4. Set the new password - Enter the code and your new password (at least 12 characters), confirm it, and choose Update password.

Tips

  • This is the same secure flow as the sign-in "Forgot password", but reachable from inside the app.
  • If the code is slow to arrive, check your spam folder or use Resend.
