Finalise a scorecard and trigger a bonus
Lock the month, then pay on performance.

Finalising a month locks the scores and produces the employee's overall percentage. That percentage powers the performance bonus in payroll (target bonus x finalised %).
Steps
- Finish scoring - Make sure each section is scored for the month.
- Finalise - Click Finalise to lock the scorecard so the overall percentage is set. A lock icon confirms it is finalised.
- Reopen if needed - Owners and HR can reopen a finalised scorecard to correct scores. Managers cannot reopen.
- Pay the bonus - In Payroll -> Compensation, the Bonus tool uses that finalised % to suggest a bonus for the chosen month.
Tips
- Once finalised, the month is locked so the percentage stays a reliable record.
- Only owners and HR can reopen a finalised scorecard - this is enforced server-side.
