How multi-step approvals work
Requests follow the chain owners designed.

When owners build an approval workflow, requests follow it step by step. Each approver only sees the request when it is their turn, and it completes only when every step approves.
Steps
- A request is submitted - It enters the chain at the first step.
- Each approver decides in turn - After one approves, it moves to the next approver automatically.
- It completes or returns - Once the final step approves, it is done; a decline sends it back to the requester.
