Branches, units and the organogram
Map a multi-office business and see your reporting lines live.
For: Owners & admins · Category: Your team & roles
If your business runs more than one office - branches in several cities or countries - Veridox can map the whole structure: locations, departments with units inside them, and a live organogram of who reports to whom.
Steps
- Switch on multiple locations - Go to Settings -> Company -> Organization structure and choose "Multiple locations & branches". Single-office companies can skip all of this - one location stays the default.
- Build your location tree - On People & HR, use "Locations & branches" to add countries, offices, branches and shops, nesting each under its parent. Give each one a person in charge - the same manager can run several branches.
- Add units inside departments - When creating or editing a department, pick a Parent department to make it a unit (e.g. Marketing with Retail and Channels units). Each unit can have its own manager or supervisor.
- Attach people - Each employee record carries a department/unit and a location - set them when editing the employee, or straight from the organogram.
- Use the organogram - The Organogram on People & HR draws your reporting lines live from each person's record. Click any person to change who they report to, their department, unit or location - the change updates their record everywhere. Filter by location or department to focus on one branch.
Tips
- The organogram is a live view, not a separate drawing - edit a profile and the chart follows; edit the chart and the profile follows.
- Deleting a location or department is blocked while people or branches are still attached, so nothing gets stranded.
