Record resignations and final settlements

Track exits and queue a final payment.

For: Managers & HR · Category: Recognition & exits

Resignations track people leaving the company - the notice date and status. When someone leaves, you can queue a final settlement that flows into payroll as a one-time exit payment.

Steps

  1. Open Resignations - Go to HR -> Resignations tab.
  2. Record the exit - Pick the employee and add the notice date; it starts as pending.
  3. Update the status - Move it through its statuses (for example to approved) as the exit proceeds.
  4. Queue a settlement - Add a final settlement amount and label; it queues as a one-time exit payment in payroll.

Tips

  • Employees who have left are automatically excluded from future pay runs.
