Change the app language
Switch the interface language from Settings.
For: Everyone · Category: Signing in & your account
Veridox can show its interface in six languages: English, Nigerian Pidgin, Swahili, French, Chinese (Simplified) and Amharic. The choice is per-device, so each person picks what suits them. Guide text and help articles stay in English.
Steps
- Open Settings - Owners/admins/managers/HR: open Settings from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Employees: open Settings from your profile button.
- Find App language - Owners/admins/managers/HR: it is the App language card on the Preferences tab (the first tab). Employees: it is on the Language tab.
- Pick a language - Choose from English, Nigerian Pidgin (Naija Pidgin), Swahili (Kiswahili), French (Francais), Chinese (Simplified) or Amharic; the interface updates immediately.
- Chat translation is separate - Employees also have a chat translation preference on the Language tab for translating incoming chat messages - a separate setting with even more language options.
Tips
- Anything not yet translated falls back to English, so nothing ever goes blank.
- This only changes the interface for your device - it does not change other people's view.
- The chat translation language (for message auto-translate) can be set independently from the app language.
