Send a voice message in chat
Record and send a short voice note instead of typing.

When typing is awkward, you can send a voice note in any chat. The other person can play it back inline.
Steps
- Start recording - In a conversation, use the microphone control to begin recording your message.
- Send or discard - Stop when you are done, then send it - or discard it and try again.
- Play back - Voice messages appear in the thread with a play button for the recipient.
Tips
- Keep them short and clear - a quick voice note is faster than a long paragraph.
- Allow microphone access the first time your browser asks.
